Research done by psychology professor Dr. Gail Matthews concluded that those who merely formulate goals but don’t write them down only accomplish 43% of those goals. Those who write them down accomplish 64%, and those who write their goals down and share them with a friend accomplish 76% of their goals.

Unfortunately, most people don’t write their goals down or utilize their social circles to help them reach their aspirations. If your members' friends and family don’t know about their fitness goals, they likely don’t know about your gym either.

 

This is where the Pursue Passions Challenge comes in

 
 

Referral marketing is a method of promoting products or services to new customers through referrals, usually word of mouth. The referral marketing campaign we are offering you is called the Pursue Passions Challenge. The Pursue Passions Challenge was created to motivate your members to passionately pursue their aspirations. It does not matter if the goal is mundane or fantastical – tangible or intangible – quantifiable or unmeasurable – big or small! When your organization creates a TwoWks Group Account you are not only equipping them with a powerful suite of goal management tools, you are also giving them the strength of a support system to hold them accountable. To initiate the Pursue Passions Challenge, just tell your members to create a TwoWks account. They will be added to your gym’s Group Account. 

 

From there, three things will happen every two weeks

First, they will update their Goal Progression Log. This tool is intuitive enough to accelerate their productivity and improve their overall mindset. 

Next, they'll view one of their group members’ Goal Progression Logs to write a positive comment or observation. This is called, “Sending Joy”.

Finally, someone else will look at their Goal Progression Log and say something motivational or reenergizing. We call this, “Receiving Joy”.

What kind of goals will they be tracking

We encourage members to track their progress toward goals in all 7 Goal Categories. This makes it easier for your members to refer their friends and family. Below is a list of goal categories. Each category has Templates for specific goals related to that category. They will learn more about Templates later during the Automated Virtual Coaching.

Goal Category 1: Quality Relationships

Build or join a group of compatible individuals who you actually like to talk to and be around. Improve the quality of your relationship with friends, family and acquaintances. This will make interacting with them less stressful, more enjoyable and ultimately more rewarding. Rearrange your social circles. 

 

Goal Category 2: Improve Mindset 

True happiness should not be dependent on your day to day circumstances. Change your perspective and the way you handle situations so that your life can be filled with more joy and peace. 

 

Goal Category 3: Ideal Career 

Where (geographically) do you want to work? What do you want to be doing? How much do you want to get paid? Who do you want to spend your time with? Take steps toward your ideal career while improving your value at your current occupation.

 

Goal Category 4: Increase Fitness

Gain weight, lose weight, tone up, get ripped, eat healthier, sleep more, stretch more, drink more water, less process foods, less sugar, more endurance, regular cardio workouts etc… You only have one body. Why not take care of it?

 

Goal Category 5: Big Purchase 

Develop daily or weekly habits that will allow you to save a certain amount of money each month. After a few months, you’ll have a nice chunk of change that you can use to go on a vacation, go on a staycation, invest in a business or treat yourself to a luxury purchase. 

 

Goal Category 6: Make an Impact

Volunteer your time, money and social-influence to a charitable or humanitarian organization. The term ‘social-influence’ basically means that you are influencing others to support the cause via word-of-mouth, email or social media posts.

 

Goal Category 7: Personal Aspirations

These are goals that don’t fit into the categories above. If you don’t have any specific ambitions, we’ll help you find a pursuit you can be passionate about.

 

Automated Virtual Coaching

To begin this journey, your members (and their friends and family) will go through 4 weeks of Automated Virtual Coaching. The introductory program will teach them how to:


 

Go Viral throughout your members’ social circles

“Going Viral” means that something becomes very popular by circulating quickly from person to person - usually through social media, emails and local blogs. Most things that go viral have a quick spike then fade away. The Pursue Passions Challenge the ability to Go Viral as well as be a Sustainable revenue driver.

Our Automated Virtual Coaching is very efficient at getting your members to get their friends and family involved. This helps your members be more accountable to their fitness goals and motivates them to continue striving. The Automated Coaching Program will teach your members simple tactics for rally support around their aspirations. Every person they refer will be joined to your gym’s group account and will begin to build rapport with your gym’s members (through sending and receiving Joy). Gamification features also have been added to make referring others even more rewarding.
