TwoWks For Ministries

What is TwoWks?

       is a social network with an emphasis on goal-setting, accountability and productivity. When someone joins TwoWks, they are put into a group of likeminded people who are also striving towards similar goals - this is called an Accountability Group. Churches and ministries can create groups for their members. Click here to watch some of our videos.

What is the Goal Progression Log?

                The Goal Progression Log is a tool that helps you write your goals down and chronicle your progress. You can track a single goal or multiple goals simultaneously. The term ‘GPL’ is an abbreviation for Goal Progression Log. Click here for an in depth Goal Progression Log tutorial.

What are GPL Fields?

       The Goal Progression Log is broken down into five sections;

Tasks – things you want to do on a daily or weekly basis

UnProductives – things you are trying to avoid or stop doing

Ratings – things you can rate/evaluate yourself on from 1 – 10

Weekly Questions – open ended questions

Monthly Questions – open ended questions

GPL Fields are what is actually being tracked within these five sections.

Why is it called TwoWks?

                ‘Wks’ is the abbreviation for weeks. It is called TwoWks because every two weeks these three things will happen;

1.       Update Log – You can update your GPL Fields. Two weeks is just a recommendation, you can update your Log daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly

2.       Send Joy – You will view a group member’s Goal Progression Log and write a positive or motivational comment. We call this Sending Joy.

3.       Receive Joy – Another group member will view your Goal Progression Log and type an inspirational or uplifting comment. We call this Receiving Joy.

What is the purpose of TwoWks?

               The whole purpose of TwoWks is to help people accomplish more of their goals and aspirations with less stress. Being a part of a community of likeminded individuals makes the journey more enjoyable.  Research done by psychologist Dr. Gail Matthews concluded that those who merely formulate goals but don’t write them down only accomplish 43% of those goals. Those who write them down accomplish 64%, and those who write their goals down and share them with a friend accomplish 76% of their goals.

How does TwoWks you as a Christian?

Integrates the Word into your daily life

       Tracking GPL Fields gives you new freedom to incorporate novel concepts into your daily life. You will have the ability to convert a rhema word or Sunday sermon into practical GPL Fields. For Example: If you wanted to be more patient, you would have to just remember to practice patience.  Over time, that initial gusto for patience might fade and you could forget to live patiently. Alternatively: If you were updating your GPL periodically, you could add a few Fields related to patience. This would continually remind you until patience became an unconscious habit.

Helps you let your light shine

       People who are skeptical of the Gospel may decline an invitation to church. If you don’t want to initially go that route, you can invite them to become your TwoWks accountability partner. All types of endeavors can be tracked via the Goal Progression Log, so your invitation won’t be perceived with a religious connotation. When you invite someone to join TwoWks, you are essentially asking them to help you reach your goals through mutual accountability. Each time they Send Joy, they may notice the spiritual Fields you (and the other group members) are tracking in your GPL. Over time, this might spark their curiosity and open the door to a conversation. This is low pressure evangelism. Why not invite all your friends?

Makes it easier to do life in community

       TwoWks allows your church family to support you through whatever aspiration you are striving towards. Sending and Receiving Joy helps you be more connected and helps new people get acquainted with other members more quickly. When someone knows a good portion of the people in the ministry, they feel more valued. It is less likely that a person will leave if they feel that their presence will be missed.

What kind of goals can you track?

       TwoWks’s tools make it easy to track and take actionable steps toward a single goal (or multiple goals simultaneously). Below is a list of goal categories. Each category has Templates for specific goals related to that category. You will learn more about Templates during the Interactive Training Course.

Goal Category 1 - Quality Relationships

For example:

Acquire 5 new friends who share my interests.

Set aside $3,000 to invest in an entrepreneur or stocks.
